hi! here's my opinion. i agree that e-learning makes learning easier. still, i think that learning can be done in many ways, not only thru e-learning. bcoz i think schooling like this will be such a bore. i mean, schools provide a place for children to learn, to have fun and most of all, to socialize. the schooling experience will help learners to grow. i dont think that e-leaning should be done at home-based only. it can be done at school too, with the teacher or facilitator guide learners from the net, or learning thru education cd programs. btw, can u be specific about how e-learning is carried out? like what u said, 'everything is available on the web'...i dont think the net is too reliable. learners still need someone to guide, to teach them about whats right or wrong and etc. for us, who can choose and control what we want to learn, e-learning is at our fingertips. but what about the young learners? i dont think they can do the same like us.the sound of e-learning is very interesting but i still stand firm on that learning should not only be done that way...
"Save money and travel time" yes indeed. plus we can also save the environment. using computer can cut down the usage of paper, thus, save more trees.
less travel time means that we use less fuel and cut down on the carbon emission.
lets play our part for the mother nature, going for technology is going green!

Though usually we heard that "life gets tougher as time moves"..
But as WISE teacher we had our choices,E-Learning is one way of it.
